Termite Control

“How to control Termite” is one of the main concerns in old as well as in new constructions.

Termite damages the structure in several ways; eat up the articles of furniture such as chairs, sofas, doors, windows, cupboards and stationeries. It destroys the foundation of a building. Also it affects the health of the people adversely. Sub-Terranean termites are responsible for most of the destruction in the building. Termites exist near ground level in a dome shaped mount. It finds access to the super structure through the timber fixed in the ground.

Protection against Termites during new construction

As preventions are always better than cure; so be careful to implement anti termite treatment called pre-constructional chemical treatment. A chemical barrier is made between the domain of Termites and the ground to stop their access to the super structure above. By treating the soil around the foundation with suitable insecticides or chemicals, you can protect your house and other valuable things from termites.

Protection against Termites in the existing construction

Once termites entered your house, these insects keep on destroying wooden articles and celluloid materials rapidly. So it's necessary to apply some anti- termite treatment along the foundation, under the floor, in the voids of masonry and in the joints of wood work to eradicate the domain of termites.
